MYM Agency Commission Study 2026

Last updated

This MYM agency commission study records what 14 agencies that manage MYM accounts, and 8 editorial or directory pages, published about agency fees on 30 September 2026. Two agencies publish a number: 35–50% and 0%. The other twelve either say they work on commission without a figure or say nothing about price. Editorial estimates run from 10% to 70%.

What did the MYM agency commission study find?

Disclosure is rare, and the two figures that exist describe very different offers.

How was the study carried out?

With web searches, page downloads and word-for-word quotes, in steps anyone can repeat.

  1. We ran 17 queries in French, English, Spanish, Italian and German, among them “agence MYM”, “MYM management agency”, “agenzia MYM” and “agence MYM commission”, plus variants and name checks. The search tool used a US index.
  2. Each candidate page was downloaded with curl, using a Chrome user agent and a French Accept-Language header. For agencies we read the homepage, FAQ, pricing or joining page and legal notice where they existed.
  3. For each source we noted whether MYM is named, whether a rate is published, the services claimed, any warning signs on the page and any legal entity.
  4. A rate counts as published only when a number or range is stated as the agency’s own charge.
  5. Every quote was matched against the stored page text after collapsing whitespace. All 75 passed.
  6. Sites that would not load were looked up through Google’s DNS-over-HTTPS service; status 3 means the domain is not registered.

What does each source publish about its rate?

Quotes are in the source’s language, with our English gloss.

Why is the range so wide?

Because the two published agency rates price different services, and no source says what its percentage is taken from. The 0% offer is funded by MYM’s 10% referral share and lists tips, advice and reposts. The 35–50% offer is full management priced by the services requested. Editorial bands move with the creator’s starting point: OF Master puts creators with an audience at 30–40% and beginners above 50%. On MYM’s own €100 example, a 40% rate comes to €29.31 or €48.00 depending on the base, which what MYM agencies charge works through. We treat the 10–20% estimate as an outlier.

What does MYM itself take?

MYM’s cut comes before any agency commission. Its creator terms (CGS, version of 24 July 2025) set 25% on subscriptions and 20% on push media, private media, lives and tips, plus bank fees of 3.5% or 7% of the VAT-inclusive price, depending on how MYM classes the account’s risk. The help centre states a flat 7%. In MYM’s worked example, a fan in France pays €120 for a €100 media and the creator receives €73.28. MYM fees has the detail.

What are the study’s limitations?

It is a snapshot of what ranked in search and what agencies chose to put on their sites.

  • The sample reflects what ranks in search, not a registry. Search ran on a US index, so google.fr rankings may differ.
  • Survivorship. 16 agency domains from the results no longer exist, so the live sample leans toward agencies still operating in September 2026.
  • Pages read. We read homepages, FAQs, “join” pages and legal notices. We did not read contracts, application forms, sales calls or content behind JavaScript. “No” in the commission column means only that the pages read publish no rate.
  • Market skew. The sample is almost entirely French (France). No MYM agency was confirmed in Belgium or Switzerland, and the two non-French agencies (MAHO, Creator Heave) list MYM as a side platform.
  • Too few rates. With 2 published rates, the study can report the range and the disclosure rate, but no average or median.
  • Commercial interests. Desirely and Supercreator are vendors, 99biz sells training, CherryPy is sponsored, and A14’s pitch sits on its owner’s blog.
  • Privacy. Names of private individuals shown in legal notices (A5, A7) are left out on purpose. Only the entity type is given.

Who ran this study, and what is our interest?

Bunny Agency did, and we are a MYM agency competing with those listed. The Desirely directory lists “Bunny Agency (France)” and “Bunny Agency (Allemagne)”. Our own rate, 30%–60% of the revenue an account generates, is not counted among the 14 and is published on pricing. Sources are named only for what they publish about rates; warning signs appear as counts, because one day’s reading of a website is not enough to judge a business. Frequently asked questions

How was the commission study put together?

On 30 September 2026 we searched in five languages for agencies offering MYM management, then saved the text of each agency’s main pages, including its FAQ and legal notice. For all 22 sources we logged the rate, if any, and quoted it exactly; a script later confirmed every one of the 75 quotes against the saved text. Domains that would not open were checked in DNS, which is how we know 16 have lapsed.
