MYM Agency FAQ
Last updated
This MYM agency FAQ covers six questions about MYM itself: what the platform keeps from a sale, when money reaches your bank, the rules on adult content, how much of your identity fans see, the app question and selling the same content elsewhere. Everything about working with us has its own page, and the guide below says which page answers what.
What is in the MYM agency FAQ?
The six platform answers at the bottom of this page, each written from MYM’s contracts and help centre as they read on 30 September 2026. Questions about hiring an agency sit on the page that covers the subject, so each answer arrives with its context instead of on its own.
Where are the questions about hiring an agency answered?
On eleven pages, one per topic. If you are comparing agencies, start with the money pages, then read how the work is split between you and us.

How do you contact MYM support?
Through MYM’s help centre at support.mym.fans, which is published in French, English, Spanish and German. The contracts themselves exist only in French, whatever language the app is set to.
A stuck certification, a payout that has not arrived or a moderation decision can only be settled by MYM, because no agency sees MYM’s internal checks. One point is worth knowing before anyone contacts you in MYM’s name: MYM’s help centre says it will never ask for your MYM password.
How were these answers checked?
Against MYM’s own documents on 30 September 2026: the creator contract (CGS) and the terms of use (CGU), both dated 24 July 2025, plus the French help centre. On a few points the contract and the help centre give different numbers. Where that touches an answer, we print both and say which one the contract uses. MYM may change its terms with 15 days’ notice, so read every rate here as correct on that date.
Words such as push media or Mandataire are defined in the MYM glossary, and the longer explanations are in our MYM creator guides.
Frequently asked questions
How much does MYM take from creators?
Two deductions. MYM’s commission is 25% on subscriptions and 20% on everything sold per item (private media, push media, lives) and on tips, under the CGS dated 24 July 2025. Before that, a bank fee of 3.5% or 7% comes off the VAT-inclusive price; the help centre gives 7% as a single figure. Run through MYM’s own numbers, a fan in France paying €100 for a media leaves €73.28 with the creator. Checked on 30 September 2026; the MYM fees guide shows each step.
When does MYM pay out?
Two things decide it: how long each sale is held, and whether your cleared balance has passed the minimum. Tips, lives and media unlock after a week, a monthly subscription after 15 days, a six-month one after 60. From €50 cleared (€100 if your bank is outside SEPA, per the help centre), MYM pays on the rhythm you pick: Monday or Thursday runs, or the 1st and 15th. A European bank normally credits it within a day. The full breakdown is in MYM payouts explained.
Is adult content allowed on MYM?
Yes. MYM’s terms of use allow pornographic and erotic content, but profiles carrying it are hidden by default, and fans reach them only after an age check that MYM runs with Yoti’s facial age estimation. Explicit media cannot be a public feed post; it has to stay blurred for subscribers. MYM classes adult accounts as high risk, which puts them on the 7% bank fee. By MYM’s own count, adult content was 13% of posts and 45% of creator revenue in the six months before June 2025.
Can I use MYM without showing my real name?
Towards fans, you can work under a pseudonym: MYM’s contracts refer to each creator’s pseudonym, and the invoices MYM issues to fans on a creator’s behalf carry that pseudonym. Towards MYM, no. Certification needs your legal name and address, a phone number confirmed by SMS, a passport or national ID card (driving licences and residence permits are refused) and a security selfie. Payouts go only to a bank account in your own name, and MYM’s privacy policy keeps identity data for 8 years.
Does MYM have an app?
Not in the app stores, as far as MYM’s own help centre shows. MYM runs in the browser at mym.fans, and creators manage their accounts at creators.mym.fans. The help centre explains how to add the site to a phone’s home screen so that it behaves like an app, and none of its articles links to an App Store or Google Play listing (checked on 30 September 2026). An APK file offered on a third-party site is nothing MYM itself points to.
Can I sell my MYM content on other platforms?
Yes, as long as the other sale is paid. MYM’s terms of use let creators publish their blurred, private, push and live media on any other platform or network provided that distribution is paid, and we found no exclusivity clause in MYM’s documents. What MYM forbids is using its fans as the bridge: inviting a subscriber to a competing platform, or contacting fans to share that media outside MYM, is grounds for suspension or termination under the creator contract.
