MYM Ambassador Program

The MYM ambassador program pays a referrer 10% of the cleared earnings of every creator who joins through their unique link, for 24 months from the day that creator’s account is created. MYM pays it out of its own share, so the referred creator’s income is not reduced. Tips, and sales made with a MYM promo code, earn the ambassador nothing.
MYM, the French creator platform operated by Air Medias SAS, sets these rules in its referral terms (the CGP, version of 11 August 2025), which form annex 7 of the creator contract. We checked them, and the matching help-centre article, on 30 September 2026.
How does the MYM ambassador program pay?
An ambassador receives 10% of each referred creator’s validated earnings for two years, paid by MYM from its commission. Payouts start once more than €100 is owed.

Why do some pages say three years?
Because MYM’s own summary still does. A help-centre page called the “10 commandements” says 10% for three years, while the binding referral terms and the main help article both say 24 months.
The two-year limit arrived with the referral terms of 11 August 2025; the help article on referrals (in French) says the period is now capped at two years. Treat 24 months as the rule, and treat any blog quoting three years as out of date.
Does being referred cost the creator anything?
No. The 10% comes from MYM’s side, and the creator’s share of each sale is calculated exactly as it would be without a referrer.
What a referral can shape is the relationship. The person holding your link earns more the more you sell for two years, which is a reason for them to help you and also a reason to recruit you whatever your plans. MYM’s rules oblige them to tell you what they receive, so you are entitled to ask.
How do some agencies use referrals to charge 0%?
An agency can register as an ambassador, refer the creators it signs, and be paid by MYM instead of taking a commission from them. In our study of 14 MYM agency websites, one advertised 0% commission on exactly this basis.
We looked at what that agency publishes and nothing more, so we describe the model and not the service. The arithmetic of the model is worth understanding before you choose it:
- The agency’s income from you is capped at 10% of your cleared earnings, with tips excluded.
- It stops after 24 months unless you agree something else.
- It works only for creators new to MYM, because registered creators cannot use a referral link, and MYM prohibits pushing a creator to delete an account and sign up again.
- It is paid on your earnings whatever the agency actually does for you, so the scope of service needs to be written down.
For agencies that charge a commission instead, published rates in our research ran from 0% to 50%, and most agencies publish no figure at all. The full numbers are in what MYM agencies charge.
What should you check before joining through someone’s link?
Ask what they will do for you and put it in writing. The referral itself costs you nothing, so the questions are about everything around it.
- They have told you that they earn 10% as your referrer, as the rules require.
- Nobody has asked you to close an existing MYM account and reopen it through their link.
- MYM will pay your earnings into a bank account in your own name, as it requires.
- Any commission charged on top of the referral income is stated in a contract.
- You know what happens after month 24.

Can you become a MYM ambassador yourself?
Yes, if you are 18 or over and have a clean criminal record. You sign up through MYM’s ambassador portal at ambassadors.mym.fans and verify with an ID and a selfie.
Income arrives on the payout rhythm you choose once the €100 threshold is passed, and a business registration extract becomes necessary once referral income passes €10,000 in a calendar year. For comparison with a management commission, our pricing page explains how we charge.
