MYM Payouts: Holds, Minimums and Methods
Written by Sophia Brecht Published Last updated
MYM payouts go by bank transfer to an account in the creator’s own name. Every sale first sits in a hold: 7 days for media, live tickets and tips, 15 days for monthly subscriptions and 60 days for six-month ones. Once at least €50 has cleared (€100 for accounts outside the SEPA zone), MYM sends it on the schedule the creator chose.
We checked these rules against MYM’s creator contract and its help centre on 30 September 2026.
How long does MYM hold earnings before a payout?
Between 7 and 60 days, depending on what was sold. The contract lists the holds below, and it lets MYM stretch any of them to two months from the fan’s payment when it suspects fraud.
| What was sold | Hold before the money counts as cleared |
|---|---|
| Private media and push media | 7 days |
| Live tickets | 7 days |
| Tips | 7 days |
| Monthly subscription | 15 days |
| Six-month subscription | 60 days |
| Any sale under suspicion of fraud | Up to 2 months from the fan’s payment |
MYM does not explain why subscriptions wait longer than single sales. The practical effect is on a new account’s first payout, which depends on its mix. An account selling mostly media and tips can have cleared money a week after its first sales, while one that lives on six-month subscriptions waits two months.
What is the minimum MYM payout?
€50 of cleared earnings for bank accounts in the SEPA zone and €100 for accounts outside it, paid by SWIFT, according to the help centre’s payout article (in French). The contract names only the €50 figure, “or the equivalent in another currency”, so the €100 tier is a help-centre rule.
Belgium and Switzerland are both on MYM’s SEPA list, so creators banking there fall under the €50 minimum.
When do MYM payouts arrive?
On the schedule you pick: twice a week, weekly, twice a month or monthly. MYM’s payment runs go out on Monday and Thursday mornings and again on the 1st and 15th of each month, and for European bank accounts the help centre says the money shows “within 24 hours in the vast majority of cases”.
Outside Europe, the first transfer can take a few days longer. On our reading of those rules, a tip received on a Tuesday clears the following Tuesday and, on the twice-weekly schedule, leaves on Thursday morning, as long as the €50 minimum has been reached.
Which payout methods does MYM offer?
Bank transfer, by SEPA or SWIFT. PayPal is open only to SuperStar accounts, which need at least 50 active subscribers throughout the month, two feed posts a week and an average of 48 hours to answer requests and deliver private media.
For transfers, MYM’s payment method article lists IBAN countries plus the account formats used in Australia, Canada, Mexico, Russia and the United States, and calls the list “obviously not exhaustive”. It warns that transfers to Russia can fail because of embargoes. MYM publishes no full list of the countries it can or cannot pay.
Can someone else receive your MYM payouts?
No. MYM requires you to own the bank account your transfers go to, and changing the IBAN has needed an SMS code since 1 September 2024. Even MYM’s own page for agencies asks for the creator’s bank details, not the agency’s.
An agency that wants your earnings routed to its account is asking for something MYM’s rules do not allow. French Wikipedia cites a July 2023 Le Parisien report, headlined “He changed my bank details”, about creators and their MYM agents. With Bunny Agency the payout details stay with the creator: MYM pays you, and we send our commission invoice afterwards, as our pricing explains. MYM agency scams lists the other warning signs.
What must be in place before the first MYM payout?
A certified account, a payout method, cleared earnings above the minimum, any identity check the payment provider asks for and, for professional accounts, a compliant invoice with each payment. A suspended account cannot receive its earnings for as long as the suspension lasts.
The difference between personal and professional status, and the invoice rule that comes with it, is covered in MYM taxes.
What does MYM not publish about payouts?
Payout fees, for a start: none appear in the contract or the help centre. MYM also names no payment providers, lists no payout currencies and gives no country list. Amounts and thresholds are in euros, and the contract warns that conversions can change what a creator earns when a fan pays in another currency.
For your records, MYM sends a monthly summary on the 15th and an annual statement on 15 January. Everything deducted before a sale reaches the hold is set out in MYM fees.
