MYM Chatter Jobs

Written by Sophia Brecht Published Last updated

MYM chatter jobs involve writing to a creator’s fans in MYM’s private messaging on the creator’s behalf: keeping conversations going, sending push media to subscribers, and handling requests for private media, which must be delivered within 72 hours of payment. MYM’s terms allow agents, chatbots and AI to run a creator’s messages, and MYM expects creators to be open with fans about who is replying.

MYM is the French subscription platform operated by Air Medias SAS in Paris. We checked its terms of use, creator contract and help centre on 30 September 2026. If you are new to the platform itself, start with how MYM works.

What do MYM chatter jobs involve day to day?

Most of the shift is reading and answering messages, with selling built into the conversation. The work runs on MYM’s own formats, so knowing their rules is part of the job.

TaskWhat MYM’s rules say
Answering fansMessaging is optional, and the creator decides whether it is on
Sending push mediaPaid pushes reach only fans subscribed to the creator
Private media requestsThe creator owes delivery within 72 hours of the fan’s payment
Offers to lapsed or undecided fans“Interested” fans and former subscribers can receive offers or gifts every 7 days
Keeping the SuperStar badgeReplies and private media within 48 hours on average

Pricing is part of it too. The creator sets every price before VAT, and MYM keeps 20% of push and private media sales plus bank fees. Our push media guide explains how the three paid formats work together.

Is chatting for a creator allowed on MYM?

Yes. MYM’s terms of use say a creator may run their messaging through a chatbot or through an agent, and that using AI to manage messaging is also allowed.

The contract calls such an agent a “Mandataire” and says it must be declared to MYM at support@mym.fans. The creator stays fully responsible for everything done on the account, including what an agent writes. MYM also states that it accepts no liability toward a fan who feels misled at talking to an agent, a third party or an AI instead of the creator. For a chatter, that means your messages count legally as the creator’s, which is a reason for the creator to set clear limits in writing.

Do fans have to be told a team is replying?

The law sets no such duty, according to MYM’s help centre, but MYM says it is for each creator to tell fans transparently who answers their messages. It adds that it cannot detect whether an account is run by a third party, an agency or AI.

That position is in a help article for fans (in French), published in July 2025. In practice, the creator decides how to say it, and chatters follow that script. Our MYM chatting page explains how we handle disclosure and staffing for the creators we manage.

What skills does a MYM chatter need?

Clear written language, good judgement about tone, and a working knowledge of MYM’s content rules. Sales instinct helps too, because push and private media are sold inside conversations.

French matters more here than on most platforms. MYM runs its help centre in French, English, German and Spanish, and in our keyword research French was the only language with strong search evidence for MYM. The one chatter-related query autocomplete returned on 30 September 2026 was the French “devenir chatter mym” (“become a MYM chatter”); English searches produced no job query at all.

The rules a chatter must never break on a creator’s behalf:

  • Never invite a fan to a competing platform. MYM’s creator contract lists it as grounds for suspension or termination, and a suspended account cannot collect its earnings.
  • Never arrange to share paid media with fans outside MYM.
  • Send only media of the creator. Anyone else in the content needs a photographer account and proof of consent.
  • Label AI-generated images as such, for example with #AI.

How much do MYM chatters earn?

We cannot give a figure. MYM publishes nothing on chatter pay, our research found no reliable source for it, and we do not quote numbers we cannot check.

What we can say is how to read an offer: look for pay terms written into a contract, a named company on the other side, and a clear statement of hours and languages. Treat a large monthly figure in a chatting ad as marketing until it appears in a contract.

How do you spot a bad chatter job ad?

Walk away from ads that make you pay first, ask you to break MYM’s rules, or give you no company to hold to your contract.

Specific signs to watch for:

  • A fee, course or “starter kit” you must buy before starting. In our study of 14 MYM agency websites, two sold paid courses next to their management offer, both aimed at people who want to run an agency.
  • The creator’s password sent to you over a messaging app. MYM tells creators never to give their password to anyone, including their own team, and points to Infloww, its only official CRM partner, for access without it.
  • Instructions to move fans to another platform or a private channel.
  • An instruction to tell fans they are always speaking to the creator herself, which runs against what MYM asks of creators.
  • No company name, registration number or written contract.

At Bunny Agency, chatters are trained people, not bots: software assists, and a person writes every message. The about page sets out who we are and where we work.
